Robot Hidden in the Rain Chapter1

Summary: Rock wants nothing more than to tell Blues how he feels. Blues seems to only want to ignore talking to Rock. Roll looks to have something important to say & Forte? ... He looks like a bat taco. Takes place after the all the classic Megaman games including Megaman and Bass.

Notes at the end. Some of the story might have filler chapters since I only though of major parts of the story. I also have issues with writers' block(*Cough cough*depression/stress*Cough cough*) so the story will take a while to make. Some parts are just made up as I go since I kind of didn't think every thing out except for major plot points.

Timeman's POV:

It was just another day. I was helping out a little at the lab while my brothers had their own jobs in the city. Speaking of working in the lab, Rock is late! My youngest brother, Rock was built as a lab assistant but had some upgrades to be a battle robot after some of us got kidnapped & brainwashed by Dr.Wily. Rock does a pretty good job but lately he seems to be having some issues. Dr.Light hasn't noticed yet so I'm not sure if I should shrug off Rock's sudden pauses in work. I'm kind of worried...

-Time skip-

Roll just asked me to wake Rock up... He's STILL sleeping?! No wonder he's late! He shouldn't be sleeping on the job!

I went to run up to his room to wake him up & just as I got there I noticed he wasn't breathing...(1) Rock must have got shut off without knowing. He'll probably be off all day to recharge... I calmed down & made sure he was recharging before going to tell Roll what happened.

"That's strange... Well he has been forgetting to recharge lately..." Was all she said before going to check on Rock. At least I'm not the only one worried about him though he'll probably get in trouble for forgetting to recharge later if this keeps up. Especially if Rock is doing something important... I may not be able to go threw time like I was originally supposed to be able too but I can tell something bad might happen...

-Time skip-

I'm checking on Rock again, he should be up by now. As I open the door, I see that he is just sitting on his bed. Rock was just staring into space it seemed, when I walked over to him, Rock suddenly sat straight & started to speak.

"Hello! I am Rock, I was built to be Doctor Light's assistant. May I help you?"

I held in a laugh as he said that. Ever since he first turned on he'd say that when he rebooted his systems after being shut off. Dr.Light has mentioned trying to fix that but never got around to it. I'm not even sure Rock even knows that he says this when he starts up. I tried to put on a straight face as Rock shook his head to snap out of it.

"Time-nii(2)! There's a fireworks festival tonight!" He said with a big smile.

When Rock said that I instantly became confused.

"Rock, that was last month remember? You got a balloon, teddy & some little figurines."

Rock looked at me confused before rubbing the back of his head & smiling awkwardly mentioning he he forgot. After that I left the room so he could get dressed.

He forgot? That can't be right, he always remembers things plus that was recent! ... Well so to speak... I'm getting even more worried now. If something like this happens again I'm going to need to talk with father...

Roll's POV:

I noticed Timeman coming downstairs again but looking somewhat worried. Was Rock ok? My twin has been acting strange lately... Just as I was going to ask Timeman what happened Rock came downstairs. He looked ok so I was just hoping I was just being a worry wort. But still I keep having a feeling that father needs to get involved...

After apologizing for sleeping in Rock helped me set the table for dinner. Every once in a while I'd notice my twin staring into space looking a little confused. I had to snap Rock out of it & remind him what he was doing. Sometimes it took him a while to respond & when those times got longer some times I got even more worried... Rock has been doing this a lot for the past few weeks(well half of the month so far) & some of us are starting to worry.

"Roll are you ok? You seem worried..."

I looked up & look to my left to see Rock looking confused at me. I faked a smile that would probably fool him & told him I was ok. He nodded & went back to setting the table, Rock would look back at me worriedly until he paused again. By the time everyone came home dinner was ready.

Everyone was eating(3) except Rock... I'm getting even more worried... I want to tell Rock... But I'm afraid of how he'll react... Especially coming from his own sister...

1) They look like they're breathing but it's actually their cooling systems at work with the little animation.(Blame a fanfic crossover of Chobits & FullMetal Alchemist)

3) Uh troll logic? I dunno. The robots function differently & being able to eat/taste food is just for fun but can be used as a back up 'fuel' function... I have no idea how to explain this other than the robots being able to eat. Other than that it's family time.
